The Living Room is funded by the Sacramento County Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Behavioral Health Services through the voter approved Proposition 63, Mental Health Services Act (MHSA).
If you are experiencing a crisis or challenge around social isolation, depression, anxiety, fear, stress, finances, substance use, domestic violence, relationships, legal concerns, or suicidal ideation,
we can help.
We are peer counselors, chaplains, licensed clergy and mental health professionals from the community, who have experienced similar challenges.

Our Services

Crisis Intervention
Our team of trained Counselors & Peer Care Coordinators are here to help you find the right solution during a crisis. Our services include case management, advocacy, and conflict mediation.

Group Discussions
We have a variety of groups to help aid you in your healing journey. Groups may be offered in-person and online.

One-on-One & Family Counseling
Our counselors are available for individual crisis intervention and routine counseling. We offer free online and in-person counseling sessions.

Trainings & Workshops
We believe that with more information and training we can heal ourselves. To strengthen our ability to respond to emotional and mental health crisis, we offer a variety of trainings including: Mental Health First Aid & Suicide Prevention Strategies.
